Blake Bell is the Designation Project Manager for the Solar Foundation’s SolSmart program, which recognizes communities for addressing local barriers to solar energy and fostering the growth of local solar markets. Previously, he was a consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, performing due diligence on clients’ energy portfolios to identify instances of bribery, corruption, and money laundering. He has experience working in the oil and gas sector in Houston with PageGroup and in Russia with the U.S. Embassy in Moscow.
Blake holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Texas at Austin, where he focused on energy geopolitics, and was the 2011 recipient of the Governor’s Fellowship Scholarship for his work advising Governor Rick Perry.
