Mary Van Leuven is a Project Manager supporting the data and research needs for The Solar Foundation. Her focus includes the National Solar Jobs Census, the U.S. Solar Industry Diversity Study, and various other research projects. She also participates in the tracking and metrics for SolSmart, a program that recognizes communities across the country for removing barriers to solar energy development.
Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Denison University and a Master of Arts in Applied Economics from UW-Madison, with a concentration in Resource and Energy Demand Analysis. Her experience focusing on the adaptability of the energy sector to support environmental goals has led her to a career path in promoting alternative energy sources.
