Program and Communications Coordinator

The Solar Foundation is seeking a highly motivated Program and Communications Coordinator to support SolSmart, a U.S. Department of Energy-funded program focused on accelerating solar energy growth at the local government level. This individual will assist with a wide variety of projects to help cities, counties, and small towns remove obstacles to solar energy development. We are seeking candidates with an interest and background in communications (both traditional media and social media) as well as experience and interest in energy and environmental policy. The ideal candidate exhibits characteristics that support a team-oriented work environment.

Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to provide technical assistance to local governments pursuing designation under the U.S. Department of Energy-funded SolSmart program. As Project Managers are the public face of the SolSmart program, the position requires a strong focus on providing high-quality customer service. Experience in providing consulting-type services to local governments is desired. The Project Manager will work as part of a small, dynamic team to help communities reduce local barriers to the adoption of solar energy technologies.
